I then home developed it and had it scanned at @doddcamera You can see mold growing on some of the images, so wild. Miranda was the first person I trusted to care for my son, and I was the person she trusted to photograph the birth of her daughter. I will be sharing her story soon. Words have been so hard for me lately, so much that I have allowed myself to shut down when it comes to sharing. I do this to myself far too much. The more meaningful the story, the harder it is for me to share. But why? I have decided that my images just need to speak for themselves sometimes. I know in my gut the stories need to be shared. They bind us. They are not mine to keep. I’m working on some new blog posts I promise to share and maybe a new Instagram dedicated solely to the voyage into motherhood. I’m saying it here because I need to be held accountable. I have to stop allowing self induced fear (of what I do not know) to paralyze me. This is a #polaroid from Miranda’s first month as a mother.
