I had a blast running around downtown Cincinnati with this cutie pie. His momma is a good friend of mine and one of my very first clients. I am forever grateful for them and all of the other people who have given me the opportunity to do what I love this year.
I hope you all have a wonderful holiday filled with lots of love and lots of pictures to look at on Facebook! ;)

This house is an enigma to me. Apparently, it was abandoned years ago. It is as if the family just vanished, leaving behind all of their belongings. There is really great furniture inside and a few vehicles on the property. It does not look like it was a fire. I tried looking up the address to find out what happened and nothing came up. So strange. The light was beautiful. I hope I can go back when it warms up.
Thanks to Crystal for being my amazing model.

Remember Jessica and Ricky from their maternity shoot I posted here. Meet the newest addition to their family, sweet baby Zoey. We shot these at Zoey's grandparent's gorgeous log cabin which is loaded with tons of charm and stunning antiques.

Zoey's mother and grandmother both played with this crib as little girls. Before long, Zoey will have her turn with it.

This week I want to show a before/after of one of my favorite shots. The first one is straight from my phone. I just got up really close and tapped the focus to be dead center of the dandelion. I processed this shot while waiting in the dentist office using the one of my favorite Apps, the TiltShift App. Once I was happy with that I used the PS Mobile App to increase the contrast and to decrease the exposure. I had it printed as a 5x7 just to see how well it would hold up and I have to admit, it turned out pretty great.

A couple of weeks ago I went on a photo field trip with my friend, Lauren and a few other photographers. We went to this awesome junkyard that was busting at the seams with old motorcycles and cars. The owner, Skip was super cool. I have been dying to do an engagement session at a junkyard. Who wants to have a little fun with me?

I adore these two! Suzanne and I have been friends for a couple of years. I met Brian for the first time a couple of months ago at a party of a mutual friend. When I saw them together I could tell that they were a perfect match for each other. They are both super cool and laid back. They both love to have a good time. Brian plays guitar for Kristen Key and Suzanne is not only gorgeous, but also a complete sweetheart to be around.
I love these!

In honor of Black Friday, and of me not physically participating in Black Friday, I decided to do a little desk shopping on Etsy. There are tons of sellers offering great deals today. I put together a wish list of things I am dying to get.
I think this little black dress is so adorable. What better reason to put your hair up than to show off your heart! :) It is handmade by Alexandra Grecco. Check out her Etsy store here.
I have been admiring this ring by artisianlook for about a year. Their jewelry is all hand made and it is all exquisite. They also do custom work.
I love embellished bobby pins. I can't ever decide on bangs or no bangs, these pins by myhandmadecrafts are perfect for the in between times.
When it comes to necklaces, I am drawn to vintage, ultra feminine looks like this one I found here. I like how ornate it is.
These clutch purses by Red Ruby Rose are always a favorite of mine. I scream out loud every time I see them. They are so cool. Rowena, the store owner designs and hand makes each of these bags using textiles made from her own artwork.
I found these earrings at A Thousand Joys. I love the shape and the color.
I took a book making class in college. It was a lot of fun. It made me really appreciate all of the hard work and fine craftsmanship that goes into making a book like the one below. This gorgeous, handmade book by GILDBookbinders is perfect for journaling or sketching. (I want this bad, but I think I might be too afraid to write in it because it is so beautiful.)
I adore this print by Tina Tarnoff. Check out her store to see some of the awesome jewelry she makes out of the paper cut Art as well, it is so unique.
