Caroline and Rhett Cincinnati Wedding Photography

I photographed Caroline's sister, Stephanie's wedding last year and totally fell in love with her family.  I have honestly never worked with a more caring group of people.  I was so excited when I found out I would get to hang out with them again at Caroline and Rhett's wedding.  Caroline is absolutely gorgeous, both inside and out.  It wasn't hard to take her picture because all she did all day was smile (unless I was forcing her to give me a serious look).  She and Rhett live in Tennessee.  They had family from all over the country come to Cincinnati to help them celebrate their love.  What a party!  Caroline and Rhett, thank you so much for the opportunity to spend such a wonderful day with your friends and family.  It's a little bittersweet knowing there are no more sisters in the family for me to photograph.  :) I will miss you guys!!Ft. Thomas Florist blew me away once again with their creativity.  I adore the cotton ball inspired boutonnieres.Pineapple wedding shoes, yes!!

Rhett is known for his bow ties.  I love that a lot of the guests at the wedding wore them. Love this one of Rhett's sister and grandfather cutting loose on the dance floor. :)Sisters.

Laura and Eric Krippendorf Lodge Wedding

When I first met Laura and Eric during their engagement session earlier this year, I fell in love with them immediately.  They love to laugh and have fun together.  It was great getting to know them.  It made photographing their wedding a pleasure, like hanging out with old friends. :) They were married at the Krippendorf Lodge at the Cincinnati Nature Center.  Laura and Eric are both architects who met while attending the University of Cincinnati's DAAP program.  Their eye for detail was all over this wedding.  From the very sophisticated seating chart to the handmade programs that Laura worked on for months.  Everything felt polished and very well thought out.  I just love a DIY couple, nothing like making things personal by doing things yourself.   Laura looked gorgeous in her Art Deco inspired dress by Matthew Christopher and the huge smile she wore all day.  I am so thankful I got to meet these two and that I was able to be part of their special day!

Courteney and Drew's Circus Themed Wedding

Courteney and Drew were married at the beautiful Meadow View Farm in Union, Kentucky.  This circus themed wedding was full of creativity!  Courteney looked absolutely stunning, and it was a real pleasure watching Drew admire his new wife throughout the day.  This wedding was full of color,  laughter, and excitement, I loved it!  There were circus performers, a hot air balloon, rides, games, carnival food, and a ton of fun.  This is a lengthy post, but I just couldn't help myself so.  Enjoy!

Cincinnati Boudoir Photography

Jordan did a Boudoir session for her husband as a Christmas gift a little over a year ago.  She had such an amazing time and her hubby loved it so much she decided to do it again!  Her husband is in medical school in Arizona, she wanted to give him a special gift before she joins him later this month.  Her last shoot took place in a lovely Bed&Breakfast.  We wanted to change things up this time and decided to shoot outside.  I would like to thank Jordan for allowing me to share her images with you today. Through our experiences of shooting together we have become good friends.  Good luck with your new adventure Jordan, Im gonna miss my little British Bombshell!  xx

I got to work with an awesome creative team on this shoot.  Thanks to Shane Weber for the fabulous color and styling of Jordan's hair and Christine Rice for glamming her up with gorgeous makeup.

See Jordan's first Boudoir session here and a session I did for her and her hubby Kent here.

Lindsay and David Cincinnati Engagement

I had a blast photographing Lindsay and David around downtown Cincinnati.  They are laid back and fun, my favorite kind of people to be around.  I am super excited for their wedding at Leaping Lizard later this year.  Lindsay is not only gorgeous, but also a talented musician.  She is the singer in a blues band called Tempted Souls.  You can check out her band Saturday at Grandview Tavern in Kentucky.

”A friend is a hand that is always holding yours, no matter how close or far apart you may be.  A friend is always there and will always care.  A friend is feeling forever in your heart."

I loved her from the moment I met her.  I think we were 18 or 19, we both worked as waitresses at a local restaurant.  There was just a connection, the kind of connection you cant explain.   She had a fun personality I wanted to be around.  She made me laugh until my belly hurt.  We spent 5 years working together,  joking and sharing secrets.  We became best friends, there is nothing in the world I would give up  for this kind of friendship.  Though our lives are totally different, she is a wonderful mother of 5 beautiful children,  I have devoted my life to my art and work,  it doesn't matter, 14+ years later and we still laugh like teenagers, the connection is still there.   She gives it to me straight, even when I don't want to hear it, she encourages me and inspires me.   She has always been there for me and I appreciate her more than she knows.  Her heart is so kind and full of love.  I know  am a very lucky girl to have a friend like her in my life.

Christina and Brandon's Cincinnati Engagement Session

Christina and Brandon, both from Cincinnati met while attending Miami University. After college they moved to Chicago where they now live.  While they were in town last week we wandered around Findlay Market and Eden Park to capture these colorful images.  I had a great time getting to know them and hearing the amazing story about how Brandon proposed on Michigan Ave. in downtown Chicago.  He had all of her friends and family in town to help celebrate after.  I love surprises, it was a super sweet story.  I cant wait until their fall wedding at The Bell Event Centre later this year.

Laura and Eric's Cincinnati Engagement

Laura and Eric came all the way from Virginia Beach, where they are both architects for their engagement session.  Laura who is from Cincinnati met Eric while attending grad school at the University of Cincinnati.  After school they both got jobs in Virginia Beach, where Eric is originally from. They decided they wanted to have their wedding here in Cincinnati.  I was thrilled when I received an email from Laura saying she was looking for a photographer who is fun, has a bit of an artistic edge, and finds beauty in even the smallest things...totally me!  I am looking forward to their wedding next month at the beautiful  Krippendorf Lodge at the Cincinnati Nature Center.
