Kendal and Joe's Engagement at Neltner's Farm

His dimples, her infectious laugh, both of their fun loving personalities and great hair...I dont think I could have loved anything more about Kendal and Joe's engagement session at Neltner's Farm.  I first met these two when I shot Natasha and Hank's wedding a couple of years ago.  I was thrilled to find out they wanted me to shoot their wedding at Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park next year.  Its going to be one of my all time favorites.  They are both super creative and plan on DIYing almost everything.

Thank you for a fantastic day Kendal and Joe, I had a blast with you two!     After shooting at the farm, we had this wild idea to do some pictures at the skating rink.  Too much fun!!

Kate and Erik's Clifton Engagement Session

I met Kate and Erik in the gaslight part of Clifton for their engagement session.  Though they no longer live in Cincinnati, they spent a lot of time in this part of town throughout their college years.  It was nice getting to know them and hearing about how they met.   Kate and Erik met back in the Myspace days. Erik's band  at the time Till Plains had a show and Kate went to see them.   Little did she know she was going to meet her future husband that night.  They spent some time as friends, going to shows and hanging out.  Eventually friendship turned into love.  I am looking forward to their wedding next year. 

Rachel and Casey's Maternity Session

When I added up how long I have known Rachel and Casey, I was left feeling a little old....over 15 years, wow!  We all went to the same teeny tiny high school.  I was excited to meet them at their Kentucky farm for their maternity pictures.  It's nice to catch up with people I haven't seen in years.  Rachel, with her cute little baby bump, was such a trooper baring the cold long enough for me to get some of my favorite maternity pictures to date, thanks girl.  I am excited to meet their little one next month!

Beata Cincinnati Photographer

Whenever I put together a shoot, I usually have a loose concept in mind.  It almost always changes once I start working.  When I met Beata at her apartment for this shoot we were going through her clothes when she showed me this vintage dress.  It was the dress her mother was wearing the first time she met her late father.  I had her try it on and we both knew it was perfect.  She lives in a historic apartment in the Gaslight part of Clifton so we just roamed around her neighborhood.  Everything fell together wonderfully.

Jacqueline and Chip's Columbus Wedding

I drove up to Columbus a few weeks ago for Jacqueline and Chip's outdoor wedding.  It was a gorgeous day.  Jacqueline and Chip both looked fantastic, with huge smiles on their faces from the moment they saw each other for the first time.  It was such a pleasure to photograph such a loving couple.  Thank you for being so gracious and for choosing me to photograph your big day!

Rachel and Brad's Downtown Cincinnati Engagement

 I met Rachel and Brad downtown for their engagement shoot.  We wandered around Findlay Market and then headed down to The Banks.  It was a pleasure getting to know them and hearing about how they met.  Brad kept Rachel smiling, which brought out her adorable dimples, I love that.   I am looking forward to their Clifton wedding next year!

Carly and Ryan's Lake House Wedding

Last month I had the pleasure of heading back up to Jamestown, Ohio for Carly and Ryan's lakehouse wedding.  It was a relaxed day full of sunshine.  Carly's mother Shari did a wonderful job designing the event.  I love that they used vendors from their hometown of Ft. Thomas, Ky.  I have never seen so many smiles at a wedding, it was hard choosing pictures to post because they are all so sweet.  Thank you Carly and Ryan for inviting me to be part of your wedding, I left the lake that night with a heart full of love.            The house was absolutely gorgeous.Carly looked stunning.  Her dress was so perfect for a relaxed wedding. Ft. Thomas Florist  did a wonderful job with the flowers. All of the broaches in Carly's bouquet were given to her by friends and family.  Shari made a book with pictures of each broach for her to keep.  The flower girls had mini bouquets made out of their grandmothers earrings.  What a unique idea and a way to really make it special.Carly's dad seeing her for the first time that day.  He was glowing all day.  Carly made a very unique entrance in her dad's Corvette!  

Charlotte is Two!

This photo session is super special to me.  Margie has been a good friend of mine for many years.  She is a total sweet heart that lights up any room she is in.  She and her husband, Joey's wedding was one of the first weddings I ever photographed.  Through her love and kind words about my work  I was able to build my business to where it is now.  I would say almost half of the weddings I have shot can be linked back to Margie some way or another.  I am so thankful for that.  I saw her at Stephanie and Chris' wedding a couple of months ago when she was pregnant with her second child.  We got to catch up and I told her I wanted to photograph her new family to thank her for being so good to me.  :) Her daughter Charlotte is turning 2 so we decided to make it a family/2 year session.  She is a mini Margie for sure, so full of personality!
