The Polaroid Experience
The tangible is not lost. We still long for something to touch, to provoke emotion, something to hold onto. Polaroids evoke a sense of nostalgia. The familiarity draws you in, the magic is what keeps you intrugued. In a visual world dominated by screens, it is exciting to watch an image develop in front of you, to hold it in your hands immediately after it is taken. The instant gratification is both alluring and mysterious.
Each photograph is a one-of-a-kind piece of art.
I have been experimenting with Polaroid film, using it as a medium to create art, for over 10 years. I love pushing the limits by trying new and old film types and techniques. My instant photography work has been published and exhibited worldwide.
I would love to share my passion for this medium with you.
